Faculty Concerts

The Hume Conservatorium Faculty Concerts are a great opportunity for all students to perform together.  Students can range from very beginner to advanced but should be performance ready for their level.  

Going forward students may also receive awards at Faculty Concerts.  Please nominate your students below. 

Deadline for submission of students is Monday of week 9. 

Late students will not be accepted. 

Important Information:

• Students will perform just one piece (4 mins or less)
• Students should practice during lessons entering the stage, introducing themselves and their song. Staff can do this with them if they are beginners. 
• Students should arrive early and will be backstage at least 15 mins prior to starting to ensure instruments are tuned, vocalists have warmed up and students are ready to perform. 
• Students will usually be ordered youngest to oldest in teacher groups. Once they have performed they can sit in the audience. 
• Teachers accompanying students should also start back stage.
• The MC and/or Stage Manager will always let students know who is up next.  
• Students will use Hume Conservatorium Amps and mics (unless they are advanced students or this has been cleared in week 8 with the tech). 
• Stage and room must be reset at the end of each concert unless otherwise advised. 
• Backing tracks should not include the original performer. Please talk to the office by week 8 if you need information on getting backing tracks.

Copies of the run sheet and program will be available on the night on external doors and with the stage manager and MC.
