Hume Conservatorium of Music works with schools to provide high quality music education in a classroom setting. The Hume Con delivers the classroom music program which aims to equip students with skills and understandings to appreciate music and participate in music making. Activities include singing games, playing instruments, composing, and performing. The classroom music program works with the NSW Education Curriculum to deliver access to music education in a meaningful and impactful way. Our teachers may also provide Individual lessons in schools as listed below. 

Our school music programs are an extremely beneficial resource we encourage any musically inclined young students to take advantage of at your school. Without the hassle of commuting into the Con, with highly skilled and talented tutors just beyond your classroom, options for both group and individual lessons available, our extensive resource of instruments to rent and our thrice a term Performance Practice program, as well as being Creative Kids Providers, it’s a no-brainer to get involved in our in-school music program.
